The Rules of the Serpent

GAME THEORY

Four guilds feed one serpent. The last guild to feed before it bites its own tail takes the whole pot — split among its wallets by share. Here is exactly how, with nothing hidden.

I — The Closing Coil

The serpent is the timer.

A round is a coil. The serpent slowly crawls toward biting its own tail — the gap between head and tail is the time left. Every feed (a deposit of ≥ 0.01) pushes the head back, adding time, and crowns the feeder's guild as the one holding the tail.

II — The Four Guilds

Choose your guild. Bound until the bite.

Each wallet picks one guild per coil and cannot switch until the round ends. Your feeds grow your guild's pot; your guild's fate is yours.

ASHEN COIL
The Patient · grey
The ash that outlasts the flame. They hold, and wait for the others to burn out.
VENOM PACT
The Strikers · green
First to bite, last to flinch. They feed fast and dare the rest to outlast them.
GILDED MAW
The Greedy · gold
They feed for the glint of gold and swallow whatever the coil offers.
BLOOD OATH
The Zealots · red
Bound in blood to the last coin. They do not break first.
III — A Single Coil, Step by Step

Pick · feed · hold · bite.

/ 01

Pick a guild

Commit to one of the four. You're locked to it until this coil closes — no switching mid-round.

/ 02

Feed the serpent

Deposit ≥ 0.01 for your guild. Your guild takes the tail and the timer pushes back.

/ 03

Defend the tail

Rivals feed to steal it back. Out-last them — manually, or with Auto-defend / Auto-snipe under a budget cap.

/ 04

The bite

At 0:00 the serpent bites. The guild holding the tail wins the whole pot. The losers forfeit. A new coil sheds.

IV — The Split

The winning guild shares the pot by stake.

When a guild wins, the whole pot is divided among its wallets proportionally to how much each staked into the guild. Feed more of your guild's total — earn a bigger slice.

your payout = (your stake ÷ your guild's stake) × the whole pot
  • Your stake ÷ guild stake = your share of the win.
  • The pot includes the three losing guilds' SOL — that is what you actually win.
  • If your guild loses, your stake into that coil is gone. Play with what you can lose.
Worked example
Whole pot (all 4 guilds) 100.00
BLOOD OATH holds the tail at 0:00wins
BLOOD OATH total stake 1.00
Your stake in BLOOD OATH 0.10 → 10%
Your payout (10% of the pot) 10.00
V — The Fee

One flat 7.7%. Everything else feeds the pot.

Of every feed, 92.3% goes straight into the pot guilds fight for. The house keeps a single, disclosed 7.7% — split three ways, in the open.

7.7%Total Fee
TeamOperations & upkeep1.7%
The SeedCommunal harvest pool3.0%
Buyback & Burn$OURO bought & destroyed3.0%
VI — The Seed

A communal harvest, growing under every coil.

Beyond each round's pot, a second prize quietly accumulates — The Seed. It is fed by every feed, and on rare coils it bursts onto whichever guild is holding the tail.

  • 3% of every feed — yours and every rival's — drips into the communal Seed pool. It only grows.
  • Every coil carries a 1-in-1000 chance to trigger the harvest. Most coils pass it by; the pool keeps swelling.
  • When it finally strikes, the entire Seed is paid to the guild holding the tail at the bite — on top of the normal pot.
  • It splits by the same rule: your slice = your stake ÷ your guild's stake. Then the Seed resets to a sliver and begins again.
If the Seed bursts

Your Seed payout — on top of the pot 18.40
VII — Buyback & Burn

Every feed quietly burns $OURO.

Another 3% of every feed buys $OURO on the open market and sends it to the flame — removed from supply forever. The more the coil turns, the scarcer $OURO becomes. Value rides on real volume, never a promised payout — no staking yield, no dividends.

VIII — Manual & Auto

Play by hand, or set the snake loose.

MANUAL

You feed by hand — set the amount, hit Feed, defend the tail yourself. Full control, full attention.

AUTO

Set a feed amount, a budget cap, and a strategy — Defend (re-feed the instant your tail is stolen) or Snipe (feed only in the final seconds). The bot plays your guild and stops itself at the cap.

Now you know the rules.

The serpent is patient. The pot is not. Pick a guild and hold the tail.
